It’s a tradition of mine to read a festive book throughout the month of December. As I worked my way through the pages of Ballet Shoes I felt the urge to paint a little illustration of the three Fossil Sisters celebrating Christmas Eve. The book is so sweet and nostalgic and I hope this illustration captures the cosiness of the season, filled with the smell of hot ginger and fir pine on a wintery December night. Magical.
